Are we really after passion?

When you are guided by your emotions are guided by intellect it leads to despair because it leads to nowhere. So, us finding our passions is an endless road. The first requisite of life is to be free, not find a passion. As finding a passion with a conditioned mind is to an authority’s passion not yours. It belongs to the person you were mimicking. The person who influenced you. Your teacher. It was never yours to begin with.

When you ask yourself “What is my purpose?” there is chaos, there is uncertainty. When you are uncertain in the present, you want to be certain in your future. We urn to release the uncertainty, so we find certainty in the future, but looking at the future we are no so certain. Of what we would want in the future. How could we know what we want in the future? We will never. We will only know what we want in this moment. So, instead of getting rid of the uncertainty. We be with the confusion and understand it.

Insistent our passion in a future moment, merely an escape? That spacious feeling is love. That is what it sis like to live every day. To be.

To further uncover, we find that we are using passion as a future moment to love ourselves. To say, I will be enough then. Isn’t this saying we are not enough now? That is why it is important to understand this uncertainty, and love. Love yourself. Love the moment. Love your relationships.

What if we changed the question? What if we make the question implicate that we are whole now? What if we make the question about this moment? What if we could make it about giving and receiving? That would be an empowering question. Let us ask ourselves, “What can I be in this moment so I can make a difference in the world?”
